First Ditch your razor 🪒 You will no longer need that 😉 ▫️Grow hair out to at least a quarter of an inch ▫️Gently exfoliate the night before or morning of your appointment ▫️Take Tylenol or ibuprofen if you're concerned about pain ▫️Waxing around your period may make you more sensitive ▫️Avoid caffeine since it is a stimulant it also may make you more sensitive Just as important as the prep…. Here are your aftercare tips to help you get the most out of your wax and keep your skin looking and feeling great. ▫️Avoid Tanning, sunbathing, hot tubs, and submerging in water for 24 to 48 hours after your wax. ▫️Don't use heavy lotions, oils, or creams after your wax. Stick to products that are meant for waxing to avoid clogging your open pores ▫️Exfoliate 2 to 3 times a week to help reduce bumps and ingrown hairs. You can start exfoliating about 24 hours after your wax. ▫️On average wait about 4 to 6 weeks in between services to keep up on a good waxing schedule.
